Renee Chiarelli is a hospitality designer and creative curator whose work spans global hotel design, residential spaces, and product collaborations. A graduate of the University of Florida, she studied interiors before moving to Atlanta in 2003, where she began her career with a renowned hospitality design firm known for some of the industry’s most celebrated projects. It was there she met her husband, and to this day, she considers the colleagues from the two firms she worked with early in her career as family. With a background rooted in large-scale luxury projects, Renee approaches every space with a balance of structure and softness— creating environments that feel both refined and deeply human. In 2018, she founded The Design Editors, initially focusing on boutique-scale hotel FF&E projects before expanding into residential design. She gravitates toward classical design with a modern edge, guided by a philosophy centered on simplicity, gratitude, and elevating what already exists into something more meaningful. For Renee, nothing is more rewarding than helping friends, family, and clients create homes that function beautifully and feel deeply joyful to live in.
