Kitchen of the Year Contest (January 2026): A juried panel of local industry talents recognizes 5 residential kitchens located in the metropolitan Atlanta area that demonstrate exceptional creativity, quality and showstopping design. Only winning entries are notified. Enter here.

Southern Ground Outdoor Living Contest (March 2026): From storybook gardens to grandiose estates, our awards recognize exceptional outdoor spaces in Atlanta, Georgia and second-home markets in the Carolinas, Tennessee and Florida. Landscape architects/designers, students/emerging professionals and specialty showrooms and artisans whose work and influence set them at the pinnacle of their profession, will be featured. Throughout their careers—which span decades— they have harnessed a combination of grit, determination and intuition to cement themselves on a first-name basis into the design lexicon of Atlanta, the Southeast and beyond. Futures (monthly; nominations accepted on a rolling basis): Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles identifies & introduces the next generation of leading design talents who are taking our city by storm through a combination of design prowess, multi-touchpoint storytelling and sheer skill and influence. Showhouse Designer Participation (quarterly): Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles organizes and produces 3 designer Showhouses and 1 pop-up activation each year: Southeastern Designer Showhouse (April-May); Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles’ Atelier (May-June); Burton Designer Showhouse (June); and Home for the Holidays Designer Showhouse (November-December).
