About the Showhouse

Located in the beloved Chastain Park neighborhood, the 2026 Southeastern Designer Showhouse is the ultimate forever home with inviting and exquisite spaces for all stages of life. Architect LINDA MACARTHUR envisioned the nearly 13,000-square-foot home on Powers Ferry Road as a generational showplace for a family to gracefully evolve over the decades. The European transitional home constructed by HASK CUSTOM HOMES with landscaping by FLORALIS GARDEN DESIGN captivates with its charming front chimney, hipped slate roof in charcoal hues, and brick exterior with classic limestone accents. Specifications designer CLAUDIA STIMMEL infuses the six-bedroom, six and-a-half bath home with a moody, dramatic style befitting the transitional architecture. Her bold and sophisticated selections display the latest products and textures, among them are handmade tile from Walker Zanger, polished nickel and unlacquered brass fixtures from PDI, wide plank hardwood floors, refined classic natural stones, custom cabinetry by Bell Cabinetry through Construction Resources in warm, earthy colors with lacquer finishes, and velvet and mohair fabrics.

Curved walls in a plaster finish and herringbone floors guide the homeowners and guests from the entry to the open family room, living room, breakfast area, and a kitchen with Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances. The scullery provides space for meal prep overlooking the parking apron, which connects the two garages and serves as a gated outdoor room for riding bikes and playing games. A home office, located near the middle of everything and accessible via a private vestibule and its own garage, offers a convenient and connected space for the work-from-home parent. An alcove leads into the primary suite on the main level, master bathroom, and two dreamy, light-filled closets outfitted with custom cabinetry. The second level is intended for growing families with a junior primary bedroom, secondary bedrooms, a playroom, and a flexible room that can be reinvented for children and guests over the years. Located in Sandy Springs, a vibrant area for young families, the event places emphasis on celebrating and connecting with family and friends, such as hosting sports teams, class parties, game days, and holiday gatherings. The back porch, with an outdoor kitchen, is flanked by the pool and a lawn for play. The 4,000 square-foot basement is a hub for wellness—with a gym, infrared sauna, steam room, and a cold plunge—and for entertaining, with the wine cellar and bar, golf simulator, and game room primed for lingering conversations, friendly face-offs, and lasting memories.

Where we are now:
Thanks to a partnership with Regency Centers, our new location is in the Sandy Springs Plaza at 6315 Roswell Road, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
