Erica Chacon is the founder of Erica Marie Interiors. Growing up, her family moved often, but her parents had a gift for making every house feel like home. That stayed with Erica and shaped the way she sees design: not as something that needs to be perfect, but as a way to create a home that holds the life happening inside it.
When Erica’s son was a newborn, she lost her dad to ALS. Holding so much love and loss at the same time made home mean even more to her. She thinks about the kitchen where everyone ends up and the table where stories are shared—the ordinary places that become part of a family’s story. Through renovations and new builds, Erica creates homes that feel layered, personal, and meant to be lived in. She loves sourcing pieces with character and designing furniture, lighting, and objects of her own, using timeless materials to create homes that feel deeply connected to the people who live there.
